Talk to your riding group, cycling crew, or hiking party — without cell signal, without data, without buying a single piece of hardware.

GroundWave turns the phones you're already carrying into a local, offline group intercom. Two or more nearby phones connect directly to each other — no internet connection, no cellular data, no account, no subscription. Just open the app, connect, and talk through whatever earphones you're already wearing.

HOW IT WORKS

One person starts a group, others join with a single tap — GroundWave handles the connection automatically. Talk over push-to-talk or hands-free voice-activated mode, exactly like a normal call.

BUILT FOR CLOSE-FORMATION GROUPS

GroundWave is built for people who travel close together — riding a few meters apart, hiking within earshot-adjacent range, or set up at a basecamp or event. Real-world range depends on distance, obstructions, and terrain, similar to any direct device-to-device connection. It is not designed to replace long-range dedicated intercom hardware for groups spread far apart — if your crew regularly rides or hikes strung out over long distances, GroundWave's local-connection range may not cover that. Built and positioned specifically for close-formation use.

IMPORTANT: THE ALERT FEATURE

GroundWave's alert/SOS feature notifies the members of your local group only. It does not contact emergency services, police, or any external responder. Always use your phone's actual emergency calling function or local emergency number for real emergencies.

PRIVACY

GroundWave doesn't have a server. There's no account to create and nothing about your voice, location, or device gets sent anywhere except directly to the other phones in your group.

Whether you're leading a weekend ride, hiking with friends out of cell range, or coordinating a crew at an event — GroundWave keeps your group talking, for free, with gear you already own.
