A detailed railway map that works without an internet connection.
Offline Rail Map shows the railway network from OpenRailwayMap on your phone: tracks, stations, signals, speed limits and more. Download a country once and the whole map stays on your phone. Use it on the train, abroad without roaming, or anywhere without a signal.
SIX MAP VIEWS
• Infrastructure: main lines, branch lines, sidings, stations, bridges and tunnels
• Speed: maximum line speeds, colour coded
• Signals: train protection systems and individual signals, with their real symbols
• Electrification: voltage and frequency, maximum current or power
• Track: gauge, loading gauge or track class
• Operator: who runs each line
ALL DATA IS OFFLINE
Downloading country packs allows you to preload your travel region - no more and no less. No more data is needed after that. We update data weekly to ensure you get the latest changes.
BUILT-IN MAP KEY
A key lists all the symbols and colours on the screen. See an obscure signal type? The key will tell you what it is. May symbols are country specific and tagged by OpenStreetMap volunteers.
YOUR CHOICE OF DETAIL
You can choose to show or hide railways that are under construction, proposed, abandoned or razed. By default we show under construction and abandoned, but feel free to change your preferences.
PRIVATE
We have no accounts, ads, trackers or third-party SDKs. Your location stays on your phone, only to cross-reference to the map.
