About this app

If you notice any damage, such as a hole in the road, broken playground equipment, or a loose manhole, please report it using the app.
The relevant department will review your report and carry out repairs or emergency measures depending on the urgency.

■How to Use the App
1. If you notice damage to a road or park, turn on the GPS function and launch the "Okinawa City Road/Park Damage Reporting Application."
2. Select "Report by Email" and follow the on-screen instructions to take two photos.
*Please be aware of your surroundings when taking photos.
3. Check your location, select the problem, and send it.
Your report is now complete.

■About Using the App
- Reports made using this app are not intended for emergency response.
- For general issues deemed to require repairs or other measures, we will address them in order of priority, so depending on the issue, it may take several days to respond.
・If we determine that the damage or other issues reported do not currently require repairs or other action, we may not take such action.
・If we determine that the report is not within the City's jurisdiction, we may provide information, excluding the user's personal information, to the road administrator or other entity responsible for the report.
・As a general rule, we will not respond to or report the results of our response to the report to the user, unless we determine that special circumstances require us to contact the user regarding the report.
・This app is being operated on a trial basis and may be discontinued at any time.

■Information Automatically Acquired by the App
The app automatically acquires the following information. However, if the user disables automatic acquisition, it will not be acquired.

Information Acquired: Location information measured by the device's GPS function
Items Used: To pass location data in email messages and attachments

■Handling of Personal Information
User personal information sent by users via the app and collected by the City will be managed in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, except as otherwise required by law.
In addition, the user's personal information will be used for the following purposes.
(1) When it is necessary to receive or confirm the contents of a report or to otherwise contact the user.
(2) Compiling and analyzing report data to improve the operation of the app, etc.
