OKLOK is an APP that makes you no longer need to go out with keys. It allows you to use your mobile phone to unlock easily with the help of Bluetooth technology; there are also abnormal movement alarms, weak current smart prompts and personalized characteristics, just to give you a convenient and efficient new way of life.

The new app is almost impossible to use. We have an oklok installed in custom campervans . With the new app it no longer possible to open them when the phone has no data connection. That is the worst 'improvement' ever. When you have your passports in the safe and have no reception during a border crossing or at a police control you cannot access them . I really hope the developer team starts giving an offline functionality again. Now we will no longer use the lock in our campervan builds.

It's a great lock. I've had mine for years...I actually stopped using it for a while and went back to using it and it unlocked right away using my thumb print. I wanted to make sure it was legit so I tried other fingers and family member fingers and it ONLY opens for mine. Only ready not giving 5 stars is because of the language translation. Other than that, it's great.

I don't get the bad press. Mine has worked fine. Are they giving my biometric information to the Chinese government? Probably. Good news is that I only ever use biometric data for 2FA. I'd recommend you use a different password for signup than your usual one though. I can't hate this, it's pretty well made. Make sure to read the instruction pamphlet enclosed with your lock in full.
