The Seoul Metropolitan Subway is one of the most efficient in the world.
• Line 2 (Green Loop): Connects major areas like Gangnam, Hongdae, and City Hall.
• Line 1 (Dark Blue): The oldest line, connecting Seoul to Incheon and Suwon.
• AREX: The Airport Railroad Express connecting Incheon Int'l Airport to Seoul Station.
🎫 Tickets & Cards
• T-money Card: The essential rechargeable transit card. Use it for subway, buses, and even taxis or convenience stores.
• Single Journey Ticket: Requires a deposit (500 KRW) which you can reclaim at the "Deposit Refund Device" after your trip.
⚠️ Etiquette
• Priority Seats: Ends of the car are reserved for elderly/pregnant. Do not sit there even if empty!
• Pink Seats: Reserved specifically for pregnant women.
• Silence: Keep voice low and phone on silent mode.
