We built Origin because we got tired of running one day out of four different apps. A to-do list in one, a habit tracker in another, a pomodoro timer somewhere else, and a gym log we kept forgetting to open.
So this is all of it in one place, and not much else. No feed, no setup wizard, no forty settings to get through before you can add a task.
Tasks and calendar
A daily planner that opens on today. Add a task in two taps, give it a due date, break it into subtasks, put it in a project. Set it to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, or every few days if that is how your week actually runs. The calendar view shows what is coming, and reminders turn up before something is due instead of after.
Focus timer
A pomodoro timer with short and long breaks, and a plain stopwatch for when you would rather not be told when to stop. Pick the task you are working on first and the session gets logged against it, so by Friday you can see where the hours went. It works as a study timer, a deep work timer, or just a way to start the thing you have been putting off.
Habits
Two kinds. The ones you tick off, like wake up early or read before bed. And the ones you count, like eight glasses of water or twenty pages. Each keeps a streak and fills in a heatmap, so a month of showing up looks like a month of showing up. There are templates if you would rather not type them all in.
Workout
Build a routine, then log your sets, reps and weight as you go. You get a recap when you finish, and charts by muscle group over time, which is usually how you find out what you have been skipping. Body weight goes in the same place, in kg or lb. You can send a routine to a friend or pull one of theirs in.
Alarm
Repeating alarms with snooze and vibration. Name them so you know what they are for, and skip tomorrow's without deleting the whole thing.
Where your time went
Tasks finished, focus hours, workouts done, habits kept, all in one place at the end of the week. Nothing here is a number you typed in yourself. It is all counted from what you actually did.
Sync and backup
Sign in with Google and your data backs up and follows you to your next phone. Until you do, everything stays on this device and the app works fine offline. No ads anywhere in it.
Free and Pro
Free, permanently: tasks, projects, the calendar and the whole focus timer.
Pro: the habit tracker, the workout tracker, the alarm clock, the full analytics and sync across devices.
New accounts get a 7-day free trial of Pro. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
Languages
English, Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, French, Russian, Indonesian, German, Japanese, Italian, Turkish, Persian and Polish. Arabic and Persian get a proper right-to-left layout, not a mirrored afterthought.
