Traumstrich is a calm puzzle game about tracing: go over every line of a figure exactly once – all in one single stroke.
The journey leads through seven art movements: from Monet's water-lily pond past Munch's Scream, Picasso's broken-up guitars, Kandinsky's circles, Mondrian's grids and Warhol's soup cans into the surreal dream of melting clocks and men in bowler hats.
★ 70 figures in seven worlds
Every art movement has its own painted background, its own music and ten figures inspired by famous paintings and motifs. Each world is harder than the last.
★ New rules in every world
At first, glowing eyes tell you where you can start. Then the starting points stay hidden, lines with arrows only go one way, double lines have to be drawn twice – and in Surrealism your thread fades if you lift your finger for too long.
★ Every line a note
Every line you draw plays the next note of a melody, so every figure turns into a little song.
★ Help when you're stuck
A hint shows you where to start or the next lines, and rewinds if you've got lost. The solution draws the whole figure for you. You pay with lights, which you earn by solving figures without help – and if you're completely stuck, the dream gives you a hint for free.
★ Collect stars
Three stars for every figure solved with no dead end and no help.
★ Totally relaxed
No time limit, no lives. Playable offline, in 20 languages, sounds, music and vibration can be turned off.
There's real mathematics behind the game – the Seven Bridges of Königsberg: if an odd number of lines meet at a point, the stroke has to start or end there.
