Everyone passes the "baton" to a single theme.
PipeCircle is a new kind of social networking service where something that wouldn't have been possible alone is born from just a single word. By simply adding a word to the previous person's post and passing it on, everyone can create a single story together. It's different from a social networking service where you tweet alone, or a message board where threads flow; it's a community created by everyone.
◆ One step beyond "likes," but more casual than conversation
Instead of just pressing "like" on a post by someone you're interested in, try adding your own word. PipeCircle is a place where you can have communication that lies between "likes" and "conversation."
Join a relay started by someone you admire by adding your own word. There's no need to search for a topic or worry about how to end a conversation. Just by connecting with a single word, you can create something together with the person you like.
◆ Connecting through a relay
At the heart of PipeCircle is the "relay" system. Under a single theme, someone makes the first post. Someone else sees it, picks up the baton, and adds their own words. Then it goes to the next person. With each post, a story that wouldn't have been born alone grows. When you find a theme that interests you, simply write down your thoughts in a single sentence.
◆ A New Place to Connect with Followers for Those Who Share
PipeCircle offers new ways for those who share. By having followers add their own words to a relay you started, you can transform what might otherwise be a one-way communication into a two-way experience created together with your followers. You can also nominate specific people to pass the baton to, creating new ways to connect with those who support you.
◆ The Joy of Passing the Baton
After posting in the relay, it's your turn to pass the "baton." You can add a message to the next poster. Leaving a question like, "How will this develop from here?" creates a flow in the relay.
There are two ways to pass the baton:
・Open Baton: A baton that anyone can receive. Someone you haven't even met yet might pick up your baton.
* **Nominated Baton:** A baton passed by nominating a friend. Enjoy the fun of developing the relay with trusted teammates.
* **Two Modes for Expanded Gameplay:**
You can choose from two posting modes:
* **Choice Mode:** A mode where you set a question for the next person and 2-3 choices. The next poster chooses from these options and posts, then poses a new question to the next person. Like a Japanese comedy improv show, it's appealing because it easily leads to unexpected developments.
* **Free Input Mode:** A mode where you can freely post text and images. You can expand on the previous person's post or deliberately approach it from a different angle.
Both modes allow you to post with both text and images.
* **Three Rules for Ending:**
The relay has an ending. Unlike traditional social media where you can scroll endlessly without seeing the end, it eventually completes as a story, providing a clear conclusion. That's why there's a great sense of accomplishment when it's finished.
You can choose from three ways to end it.
* **Three Rules for Ending:** * Time Limit Rule: Set a time limit from 1 to 24 hours.
* Post Count Rule: Set a target number of posts from 5 to 50.
* Last One Rule: Only the creator has an "Anchor Declaration," and once declared, the next post becomes the last in the relay.
* Find and Start a Relay
On the home screen, you can discover relays from "Featured Relays," "Active Relays," and "Trending Themes." Keyword search, favorite registration, and "likes" are also supported. You can also start your own relay by choosing a theme. From diary-style themes like "Today's Meal" to topics that liven up hobbies and casual conversation, to games like word chains and creative relays. Perfect for a quick pastime or for deeper interaction.
* Connect with Friends
You can send friend requests to people you're interested in or friends. Once you're friends, you can pass the baton directly. You can instantly become friends by showing them your profile's QR code and having them scan it. QR code cards can also be shared on other social media.
* For Safe and Enjoyable Use
Content that violates community guidelines will be automatically detected and hidden. You can also report issues using the reporting function, ensuring a safe community through both automatic detection and user reporting. Privacy settings allow you to individually control ad personalization, access analytics, and crash report submission.
◆ Getting Started is Easy
You can log in immediately using LINE, Google, Apple, or your email address. You can even browse the relays without logging in. We've also prepared a "Nice to Meet You Relay" as the first official relay.
Experience the joy of exchanging words with someone you like and joining a circle, all with just a single word. Even those who previously only pressed "Like" can now connect with loved ones or anyone else without feeling pressured. Now, let's pass the baton!
