About this app

Custom edge gestures for one-handed Android control and quick actions

One Hand Control helps you use your phone faster and more comfortably with custom edge gestures, quick access shortcuts, pie controls, a touchpad cursor, popup media controls, app launching, macros, and more.

Navigate your Android phone using gesture zones on the left, right, and bottom edges of your screen.

Create edge gestures that fit the way you use your phone:

• Add customizable left, right, and bottom edge zones
• Assign actions to taps, double taps, long presses, swipes, swipe-and-hold gestures, inward pulls, diagonal pulls, and bottom-edge slides
• Adjust zone size, position, sensitivity, timing, haptics, colors, and visual indicators
• Save presets for different layouts and workflows

Use gestures for actions such as:

• Back, Home, and Recents
• Notifications and quick settings
• Volume and brightness control
• Rotation, flashlight, screenshot, and lock screen
• Media controls
• Launching apps and app shortcuts
• Saved presets and custom action setups

One-handed Android navigation

Set up edge gestures and gesture navigation shortcuts for common system actions so your phone feels easier and faster to control with one hand. Open notifications, access quick settings, go back, switch apps, or return home directly from the screen edge.

Quick actions from anywhere

Launch apps, open shortcuts, control media, adjust brightness or volume, toggle tools, and access saved presets with gestures you choose.

Optional Pro features

Additional advanced tools are available through an optional one-time Pro unlock, including:

• Split side zones
• Advanced pull sectors
• Pull animation customization
• Quick Access launcher
• Floating app launcher
• Touchpad cursor
• Edge preset picker
• Media controller
• Slider actions
• Pause rules
• Macro recording and playback

Macro recording and playback are currently in beta and may behave differently across devices and Android versions.

Accessibility access

One Hand Control uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect the edge gestures you configure and perform the selected actions, such as navigation controls, system actions, app launching, touchpad input, and macro playback.

Privacy

Your gesture settings and configurations remain on your device. One Hand Control does not include ads, user accounts, analytics, or tracking, and it does not automatically send your gesture settings or diagnostic reports to the developer.

Optional purchases are handled through Google Play Billing. One Hand Control does not receive or store your payment card details.

When you choose Report a Bug, the app creates a local diagnostic report that may include app and device information, permission states, gesture and edge settings, recent app events, and crash information. You decide whether to share that report using an email or sharing app of your choice.

[update] app gets killed too easily. other similar apps don't get killed at all. I need to toggle it off and on in the Accessibility page before it revives. Same thing happens on Oppo & Xiaomi. Already whitelisted the app from Battery Optimisation.Hope Dev can do more to prevent the app from getting killed. Excellent app! Works beautifully, gives a lot of functionality even on the free version. Already paid for pro version because it's a 1 time payment. I don't like subscriptions.

RIGHT!!! Now I can use both 3 buttons(preferred) & gesture(with many many useful tools & shortcuts) navigation simultaneously. Where was you hiding all along? What an App!! I'll buy the pro soon; more than worth it. ISSUE: App is getting killed in the background unless I lock it in the recents. Accessibility keeps turning off. Even setting battery usage to restricted didn't help. Do I really have to always lock the app in the recents?

Thank you for the feedback! On some phones, battery restrictions are high and can cause issues. Try this: Go to Settings > App Management. Scroll down and select Auto-start Management (sometimes labeled as App launch). Find "One Hand Control" and toggle the switch to On. If you have any other problems, feel free to send a bug report in the app! :)

This app very effectively fills the void for those who've moved away from Samsung/One Handed Operation+. Bravo to the Dev. Is there anyway to customise the icons on the quick actions? or is that something that could be added? thank you in advance.
