About this app

Uptime Guard watches your websites and APIs and tells you the moment something breaks — no account, no cloud, and no subscription.

Everything runs on your phone. Checks go straight from your device to your sites, and every result is stored encrypted on the device. There is no server in the middle, because there is no server at all.

WHAT IT WATCHES

• Websites — HTTP/HTTPS checks on the schedule you choose
• Any TCP port — mail, SSH, databases, game servers
• APIs — import a Postman collection and run it on a schedule
• SSL certificates — warned well before they expire
• Domain registration — warned before the domain lapses

ALERTS THAT MEAN SOMETHING

• Notifications when a monitor goes down, and again when it recovers
• Slow-response alerts when a site is up but crawling
• Optional Slack, Discord, Telegram or custom webhook delivery
• A weekly summary of uptime and API pass rate

Uptime Guard works hard not to cry wolf. If your phone loses its connection or its DNS resolver stalls, the check is discarded instead of being recorded as an outage — so "down" means your site, not your signal.

SEE WHAT HAPPENED

• Daily uptime history, with partial outages shown as partial
• Response-time charts
• Full incident history with the actual error, explained in plain language
• CSV export of any monitor's report
• Android home screen widget for an at-a-glance status

BUILT-IN TOOLS

• Test any URL instantly, without saving it
• DNS lookup — A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, SOA
• Domain health report — DNS, SPF/DMARC/DKIM, blacklists, web and SSL

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• No account, no sign-up, no cloud sync
• Database encrypted on device with SQLCipher (AES-256)
• Optional biometric app lock
• The only third party ever contacted is a public DNS resolver, for lookups

HONEST ABOUT THE LIMITS

Because checks run on your phone rather than on a server, Android schedules background work roughly hourly and may delay it further to save battery. For minute-by-minute checking, switch on real-time monitoring — it runs a foreground service and uses more battery. Uptime Guard also re-checks whenever you open the app.

If you need checks from multiple continents while your phone is off, you want a hosted service. If you want to watch your own sites, from your own device, without handing your URLs to anyone — that is exactly what this is.
Website & API uptime monitoring. Down alerts, SSL expiry. No account, no cloud.
