GENERAL PRESENTATION
CoteACote is an application that was created with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
At the origin of the project, the DDS team (Pau), designer of several expert racing applications, called on AI to establish a relationship between the arrival of the Quintés+ and the rating of the horses present at the start. A result from statistical calculations on all Quinté+ arrivals for 10 years (2014-2023) made it possible to specify this crucial data on the odds of finishing horses.
By consolidating these data with other equally interesting results, it was possible to create a specific algorithm making it possible to establish a prognosis on the probable arrival at Quinté+. It is therefore from this algorithm that the CoteACote application that the DDS team finalized and distributed free of charge on Google Play comes from.
FUNCTIONING
Information concerning the Quinté+ race of the day (Meeting number, Race number, name of the Racecourse, Timetable and Number of starters) as well as the forecast itself are published from 8:00 a.m. each morning. The latter is not necessarily complete at the start of the morning; based in part on the odds of the competing horses, it is refined over the hours and minutes until the last ten minutes before the start of the Quinté+ race.
Access to the race forecast is immediately after launching the application's cover page. 8 horses are then given for selection as being a “probable” finisher in the race. Please note, this of course does not mean that this is the necessary result of Quinté+. The displayed prognosis is only a theoretical trend resulting from a precise calculation of probabilities; it can also be modified by simply “clicking” on the “Restart calculation” button; a new theoretical trend is then proposed.
Also, when the prediction is made, the application records it at the hour and minute it was given. By closing the application and relaunching it, you can necessarily recall it.
ARRIVAL OF THE STRAIGHT
As soon as the arrival of the Quinté is known, CoteACote integrates it into the program, announces it and associates a yellow color with each number of the forecast present at the finish. Thus, it is possible to visually know the winning content of the proposed prediction.
