The hangman, also known as "hanged" is a classic game in which you will have to guess a word by choosing the letters that you think may be included in it.

How to play Hangman :

Choose letters to help you guess the hidden word. When you guess a letter correctly it will display above its positioned underscore. The more letters that you guess correctly, the more likely you'll be able to guess the word correctly. Each time you select an incorrect letter, the gallows will be formed, followed by a stickman figure. Once the stickman has been fully constructed, it will be game over.

When you successfully guess a word, you will have 1 coin added to your in-game balance. Coins from your balance can be used to reveal letters when you are stuck.
You will win Hangman if you can write the correct word before the figure of the stick man is completed. If not, it will be hanged and the game will be finalized.

I chose this app because it had a great rating, which honestly surprises me. I've spent some time trying it out today and I am disappointed. The app is very basic--pure Hangman, no frills or extras. Whatever. The words bounce between common and obscure, with vague categories as the only hint. You can get a "hint" of a letter, but if the word is really obscure, that doesn't help much. That biggest problem is the ads. They come between every round and are incredibly annoying.

Names; Repeats; Bugs. Hangman should not include names. This includes people and brands; more pop trivia than vocabulary. Out of about 100 games I got roughly five repeats; 5% is way too high especially since it tracks your games' stats -- it should be able to eliminate already used words. For Louis Vuitton, it said the N was not a correct letter so there was no way to get it right. This was one of the repeats so I know I didn't do something weird or get confused.

I love this word game so much! The reason I gave it 5 stars is because for me it's easier to win when I start with trying vowels (A, E, I, O, And U) Then if I see one of the vowels pop up on the blanks (more than 1 or just 1) it gives me more ideas on what it could be. I Also use a strategy for when a word pops up in my head I count the blanks as well the letters to see if it might fit, if it fits, I will try it, if it's wrong then I will try and think of new words! 5 ☆'s!
