Worried about hidden cameras in a hotel room, apartment, or changing room? Hidden Camera Detector gives you a fast, structured way to check your surroundings using the sensors already built into your phone.

WHAT IT DOES

• Infrared Scan — uses your camera to look for the infrared LEDs that many night-vision cameras use in the dark.
• Lens Reflection Scan — your flashlight plus the camera help reveal the tell-tale glint of a lens.
• Magnetic Field Detector — a live magnetometer readout that highlights unusual spikes near objects, wiring, and electronics.
• Bluetooth Device Scan — lists nearby Bluetooth LE devices and flags unnamed or camera-like names worth a closer look.
• Guided Room Sweep — an 8-step checklist covering the places cameras are usually hidden: smoke detectors, clocks, mirrors, air vents, outlets, lamps, routers, and shelves.
• Scan History & Reports — review past scans and share a summary.

YOUR PRIVACY

Hidden-camera scan findings, nearby-device observations, magnetic readings, camera analyses, venue labels, and private captures are processed and stored locally by the app. They are not uploaded to a developer-operated server. Reports or captures leave the app only when you explicitly choose Android's Share action. No account is required. The app uses Google advertising and consent SDKs; those SDKs may process advertising/device identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostic information as described in the privacy policy and your available privacy choices.

IMPORTANT

This app uses your phone's sensors to help you inspect a room. It cannot guarantee detection of every hidden camera and is not a substitute for a professional sweep. Always verify anything it flags by checking in person, and use the app only where you are legally permitted to do so.
