Effortlessly create healthy and customized naptime, bedtime, and morning routines with your Ooly. Simply use the Ooly Configuration App to set and record the color you want for various times.

SAFETY FIRST - We're a small family business and our own children use Ooly. Therefore, safety first. This means that Ooly is BPA-free, battery powered (i.e.: cordless, so no chocking hazard), does not produce white noise (worried about potential addiction), does not have any camera or microphone (we're privacy freaks), uses Bluetooth Low Energy (same as medical devices) and includes a "blue blocker" mode (more on this below).


DESIGN BASED ON SCIENCE - Ooly’s design is based on the scientific research of light and its impact on sleep. It is now proven that blue light inhibits the production of melatonin, delaying and disrupting sleep. Ooly is, therefore, equipped with a “blue blocker” mode to prevent the usage of disruptive blue light at nighttime. Parents should use dim red lights for night lights, as red has the least power to shift circadian rhythm and suppress melatonin.


LONGER, MORE RESTORATIVE NIGHTS AND NAPS - Hell yeah! Ooly’s main difference from other available options is that we created a universe around a lovely character: Ooly the sleepy owl. Ooly is not only a physical product but a global sleep experience that includes interactive stories and positive reinforcement activities. Our goal was for the child to bond with Ooly so that Ooly becomes a more effective solution than the typically "inert" solutions we had to deal with as parents. In this sense, Ooly is a bit like the result of crossbreeding a lovey with a toddler clock!


PARENTS DON'T HAVE TIME ...so ease of use is key. That's why Ooly is controlled remotely with an intuitive mobile app. Solutions with press buttons typically require a lot of trial and error to make work, and it is way too easy for kids to mess with their configuration. They are also easier to brake and damage. What’s more, since Ooly is remotely controlled, it is super easy for parents to make last minute changes like getting an extra 30 minutes of sleep on a Sunday morning.

I highly recommend this product for any family looking for such a device. Our 3yo fell in love with it immediately and it is an integral part of our bedtime and rest time routines. At times, the owl (we parents providing its voice) has more authority over our child than we do (using our normal voices)! The level of precision and customizability in the app is exactly what I was hoping for, although I will note that slight adjustments across many 'events' can be cumbersome. All said, we love it!

Pretty disappointed with the app so far. I ordered one of these for each of my kids, they are really difficult to set up. You can only work on the schedule while they are Bluetooth connected to the Ooly you want to work on, so I have to remember what I did and then do it a second time. I would like to be able to make a schedule and then add it to both Oolys. Also, it's tough to work on them anyway because they keep disconnecting and then I can't save my changes.

This is really helpful so far with my 3 year old. One improvement suggestion: to add the option for a push notification from the app when the battery is getting low. I often don't realize Ooly's battery is low until after noticing the bedtime light should be on, but it isn't because Ooly's battery is dead.
