"The owner of a taxi would not be able to make good amount of money as long as there exists a middleman who sits between the vehicle owner and the customer.

The sum that the vehicle owner would get for a ride is purely based on the share the middleman fixes for himself. When the market is under the control of the middleman, he does not mind the struggling drivers.

OOR offers an alternate cab aggregation model, wherein the drivers would be given the right to set their tariff. This freedom takes the cabs into market place. Customers are free to choose the cab for their ride by comparing the fare and other factors of the vehicle.
