Carpooling made easy with our app for parents who routinely coordinate with other parents to pickup their students from schools that do not provide bus transportation to your area !
Enable permissions for Push Notifications and Precise Location tracking to use the features of this carpooling application.
Functionality Outline:
Parents can join or create a trusted community for their student pickups from school.
You will be the default Community Administrator when you create a new Community and will be responsible to admit other parents requesting to join your community after reviewing the request.
Find a community near your location before creating a new community, to leverage the benefits of your local community carpooling.
Once you sign up, you will receive an email that must be confirmed for registration. Your Community Administrator will be notified of your request to join the community. You can login to the application once you have verified your email, but will need your Community Administrator's to admit you into the community to avail the carpooling assignments functionality.
As a community member, you will be assigned pickup assignments and your student will be matched for daily pickups along with other students having similar pickup needs with parents in your trusted community.
Your pickup assignment roster will include you and your student once the Community Admin admits you into the community.
You are obligated to pickup students assigned to you by the system as visible in the 'Pickups' screen.
The system performs a fair (equal pickups for all parents ) allocation based on your student pickup timings and parent availability timings provided.
When you register for CarpoolEzy, you will also be registering your child as the student and providing the weekly pickup timings required for your student. Your child can login using the credentials you have setup during registration.
The 'Student Rides' screen shows the daily pickups your child will be riding back from school that the system has assigned. It is not necessary that you will be picking your child when it is your turn to pickup students in the community carpool.
What do you do if you cannot pickup kids at the assigned date and time ?
Click on 'Swap' option on the pickup and this will notify all parents in your community of your request. One or more parents may 'Review' your request and 'Accept' to swap with you. You can 'Confirm' the swap with the request that works for you. !!
Student's may leave an assigned pickup by clicking 'Leave'. They can 'Join' another ride shown in the 'Raise Hand' screen where parents may be riding back with extra seating capacity.
