Ratings and reviews

Quad Touch seems to do what it sets out to do for a great price. I haven't tested out a lot of mods, but I've tested everything it claims to run on the page. The controller support is fantastic and works great. Multiplayer seems to work with Darkplaces and includes a barebones server query so you can find a server to play on. I had more luck with the updated QuakeWorld than with Darkplaces when it came to multiplayer, but it does work including asset downloading. Pretty awesome stuff!

It's just as great as Delta Touch. Best way to play all the Quake games and Hexen 2 on the go. Like Delta Touch, it can run mods without a problem. There is an issue with Quake 3 however. I can't switch to the gauntlets for some reason. It can be used, but I can't equip it myself. Edit: I did what you said, but it still didn't work. Infact, I can't switch weapons with the numbers or wheel at all. An error comes up saying "Unknown CMD Chooseclass."

The touch controls are super intuitive and smooth, and the powerful engines allow for excellent mod support. I was able to get all the games working on all the engines. My only issue is that there's no crosshair in quakespasm or quakespasm spiked, and the console commands for the crosshair aren't recognized. It's almost like the code for the crosshair doesn't exist on this app. I went into quakespasm on my pc and the crosshair worked just fine, so it's something to do with the app.
