About this app

"Nutal" is an app specifically designed for healthcare professionals involved in nutrition. It calculates and displays nutritional intake, nutritional supplements*, and intravenous fluid dosages in numerical and graphical formats. The graphs make nutritional intake immediately clear! Use it to reduce the burden of calculations and as a starting point for multidisciplinary discussions about nutrition.
(*Nutritional supplements include enteral nutrition formulas, concentrated liquid foods, oral supplements, etc.)

■ Calculate and graph based on selected meals, nutritional supplements, and intravenous fluids (free)
The app instantly displays the combined values ​​of energy, carbohydrates, protein, fat, water, sodium, and potassium based on your selections. You can calculate up to three combinations of meals, nutritional supplements, and intravenous fluids, allowing you to, for example, input dosages for days 1, 2, and 3 of hospitalization and display them side-by-side in a graph. You can also set targets to compare combined energy, protein, and water values.

■ Register meal menus and products (free)
You can register frequently used meal menus and products. Registration is easy as the input fields are limited. Please note that products from Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory are pre-registered.

■ Share frequently used products via QR code (free)
Registered meal menus and products can be easily shared with other users using QR codes.

■ Save and recall calculation data (premium only)
Up to 5 patterns of meal, nutritional supplement, and intravenous fluid dosages and calculation data can be saved. Saved data can be recalled and calculations performed from there at any time.

■ Output calculation data as a PDF (premium only)
Calculation data, including numerical values ​​and graphs, can be output as a single PDF.
