Learn how security actually works — offline, on your own device.
Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity teaches cybersecurity from first principles
through to incident response. Ten structured learning paths, each written to
be read rather than skimmed, with worked examples drawn from how real
intrusions unfold.
WHAT'S INSIDE
• 10 learning paths — Foundations, Networking, Linux & the Command Line, Web
Application Security, Cryptography, OSINT, System & Endpoint Security,
Social Engineering, Penetration Testing Methodology, and Blue Team &
Incident Response.
• 60+ lessons with quizzes covering multiple choice, multiple answer,
matching, true/false, and scenario-based questions — each one explains why
an answer is right, not just whether it was.
• 40 CTF-style practice challenges across encoding, cryptography, web,
forensics, Linux, networking, OSINT, and logic, with progressive hints.
• A simulated terminal for practicing shell commands in a safe sandbox.
• A 90-term glossary with a plain-English and a technical definition for
every entry.
• A tool reference covering nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Volatility, Sigma,
YARA, and more — explaining what each tool is for and what its output
looks like.
BUILT TO BE USED
• Completely offline. All lesson and challenge content ships inside the app.
No account and no sign-up are required, and your progress never leaves
your device.
• Track what you learn. XP, levels, daily streaks, badges, and a daily
challenge — because finishing a learning path takes weeks, not an evening.
• Dark theme by default, with a light theme, adjustable text size, and a
reduced-motion setting.
AN EDUCATION APP, NOT A HACKING TOOL
Ethical Hacking & Cybersecurity contains no working exploit code and cannot
scan, connect to, or attack any real system. Offensive-security topics are
taught through plain explanation and pre-written simulated output, so you
understand what attackers do and how to defend against it. The built-in
terminal is a closed simulator running over a fake, in-memory filesystem —
it does not execute real operating system commands.
Testing or accessing computer systems you do not own, or do not have
explicit written authorization to test, is illegal in most jurisdictions.
This app says so repeatedly, and means it. Everything here is meant to build
defensive understanding.
FREE AND PREMIUM
The free tier is a real course, not a trial: eight full learning paths,
every beginner CTF challenge, the daily challenge, the glossary, the tool
reference, and the terminal simulator. Premium unlocks the two advanced
learning paths, the intermediate and advanced challenges, advanced
assessments, and removes ads. Premium purchases are processed by Google
Play; see the app's Privacy Policy and Terms for details.
Whether you're starting out in IT, studying for a security role, or just
curious how the attacks in the news actually work, Ethical Hacking &
Cybersecurity is built to teach the reasoning behind cybersecurity — not
just the vocabulary.
