The timer itself seems to work okay but my experience with the app has been negative. The device loses bluetooth connection with my phone once I go inside. This is probably why the company designed an addtional piece of equipment, called the Hub, to boost connection. you can purchase this for $30. It's the typical business model of today. Design a product with limited capabilities then up-charge for add ons. Man, consumers are stupid. Uninstalled app.

The app works fine, but the interface is pretty clunky and just seems kinda glued together. Text support via the app, on the other hand is terrible. It took 10 minutes for some rep to tell me via chat that he couldn't tell me how to simply change my email address for my account. Instead, after that wait, I was told that I have to create a new account with a new email address and that I could then *transfer* the devices over. Not terribly impressive.

I love this ecosystem; being able to control my sprinklers from anywhere is amazing. The only thing missing is better integration of multiple b-hyve xd timers. If my back sprinklers are running, I only see it if I have the back timer selected - it would be great to see it regardless. Also the fact that both timers can be run simultaneously is a major issue as the drop in pressure means not enough water for any of the sprinklers. Fix this, and you get the 5th star.
