Blob Rally puts you in control of a squishy little blob rolling its way through a huge run of handcrafted levels. Instead of a traditional left-right platformer layout, you move with four directional buttons — up, down, left, right — with jump broken out as its own separate button rather than sitting along the bottom, so navigating tight spaces feels deliberate and puzzle-like. The blob carries real physics: it has momentum, it squashes and stretches as it moves and lands, and controlling that weight is half the challenge.
The mechanic that sets Blob Rally apart is size. Your blob can grow larger or shrink smaller on demand, and that single ability reshapes everything — shrink down to squeeze through a narrow gap or slip under a hazard, then grow big to reach a high ledge, push a heavy object, or cross a gap you couldn't otherwise clear. Levels are built around this: a passage that's impossible at full size becomes trivial when tiny, and a jump you can't make small becomes easy once you've bulked up. Along the way you're collecting scattered pickups and working toward the exit that completes each stage, with hazards, moving parts, and layout tricks ramping up as you progress through the level count.
Around the core rolling and resizing sits a full game: a large progression of levels that grows in difficulty, collectibles and a completion goal per stage, blob customization so you can give your character its own look, and locally saved progress and best runs across every level. Controls are on-screen — a four-way pad plus a separate jump — tuned for mobile, and the whole thing is deliberately styled to feel distinct from a standard side-scroller. It runs fully offline with no account and no connection; everything lives on the device.
