The aim of this drinking game is to drink a given number of grams of a drink as accurately as possible! The smaller the deviation, the better the end result.
Preparation: Get a digital household scale (kitchen scale) with 1 gram graduation and let's start the exciting drinking game! The measuring range of the scale should be at least 500g.
The “gram numbers” 10g to 60g are preset in the app settings! A random generator determines a number from the selected range per round, which all players should drink; or each player has their own number of grams per round, depending on which game mode was chosen.
Take a look at the video, here you can find out how the game works with the Grammtrinken app!
Some people have unusual hobbies, including Patrick Göb. He is a gram drinker and even made entries in the Guinness Book of Records. This was followed by successful appearances on TV such as Wetten, dass...? (Italy), Guinness Show and much more. m.
A real sport, far from the intention of even wanting to get drunk. The drinking game Grammtrinken is now intended to shake up parties and bars; But the drinking competition can also provide fun and excitement in families. It can even serve as an educational game (for classifying weights and measurements).
Warning: The author of this action game recommends using non-alcoholic drinks - in families with children or with underage players this must of course be an uncompromising matter of course! At parties or in bars, it must be ensured that if alcohol is used, all players are at least 18 years old. Repeat games should also only take place in tolerable quantities!
Extraordinary idea that invites you to hunt for records. Adaptable to the age of the players or the gaming environment.
History of origin:
Gram drinking came about in the 1980s by a “funny” coincidence. In a bar I was standing at the bar with friends and we were having a drink. There was a digital scale nearby where I placed my drink. This activated the digital display and made me pay attention. I had the idea to try out how heavy a sip weighs, so gram drinking was born!
I'm often asked, how does it work, is there a trick?
It's not that difficult to get at least close to the specified amount in the beginning. A certain technique is required to achieve drinking perfection. I recommend that potential beginners practice drinking grams with non-alcoholic drinks. Here's how it works: Take a sip from a drinking vessel that has previously been tared (set to 0) using a digital scale. Put this container back on the scale, the scale display shows exactly the number of grams that you had in your mouth. Tip: Now try drinking this amount several times in a row. This will give you a feel for the volume of the liquid.
“Competing” with friends or family in gram drinking is exciting and entertaining!
