Pretty big bug with destinations and origins showing up as () on itinerary and tickets, makes them look fake imo. Have already had a mini "crash" during navigation where it threw me back to the login screen (but didn't close the app). Also the UX of having to "unlock"/"enable" (whatever it is called) a ticket, so it can only be used on one device seems a bit weird, as other train providers are happy to email you a copy as a PDF - which is in itself better than having to use an app anyway.

I have a "Credit card verification failed. Please check your information and try again." issue on the website when addin a Revolut card (in the customer account). On the mobile app the error messages are related to CVV code and postal code. I can't add the card due to the 2 fields causing validation errors. Why in the world you need to request the postal code in the card area!?

l like the app very much, it's nice and clear and straightforward. I've held back from giving 5 stars as it is difficult to set departure times on the date wheel ( the numbers just lock up and won't move) and for first time user it would be nice if you could buy tickets as a guest, as its a bit of a pain to start registering and thinking of a password in the middle of a transaction. I also like that you will post purchased tickets. Well Done 👍

What's new

This update sees the launch of Push Notifications on the Grand Central app.

The app will keep you updated on the status of your train journey, whether your train is on time before your departure.

Notifications are available for all Advance tickets bought via the app or website, or any train journey via the Live Trains section of the app. Just hit the bell symbol to be notified.

You will need to update the app and enable notifications on your mobile.

This app update has also some other fixes.
