It couldn´t be simpler: LIGHTIFY installation in 3 steps:

1. Download the free LIGHTIFY app on your smartphone or tablet PC

2. Insert the LIGHTIFY gateway into the socket and connect it to your WLAN router

3. Install your LIGHTIFY lamps and luminaires and follow the app instructions

Ratings and reviews

The hub does not have enough range for my house. The app is constantly crashing. My schedules hardly ever turn the lights on and when they do they go back to the default color and not my saved scene. Wasted money on 10 lights and 2 hubs. Switching to another brand. Update...worked ok off and on. Total garbage now. Lights constantly burn out, gateway always needs connectivity restored. Spend a little extra money and buy Phillips Hue. Save headaches and money in the long run.

This system definitely had ups & downs. Earlier versions of software was glitchy& setting up bulbs was a chore,often requiring many retries.The "marrying" of devices to hub is very hard to undo,making used devices all but impossible.There was one gateway update that wiped out ALL device names,causing me to fail devices one at a time to find which is which. That said,the last updates have made system very stable.I have 12 devices, 9 switches & 6 motion sensors,all linked and working flawlessly!

It doesn't set up easily and things are not working why can't we just have apps that work. Worse setup process I have ever experienced. I've been working on it for half an hour still doesn't work...well after trying at least 10 times and an hour later it's working. It is working now and connecting it to my Google home was easy so no need to contact support now.
