Selected Sylvania Dash Cam models include integrated Wi-Fi, for wireless connection to access your files through the Sylvania Connect app.

The camera will connect to my car's wifi but will not connect to the app. I've deleted and downloaded the app a few times and reset cam to factory settings but they won't connect. Had it for 6 months trying to get it to work correctly. The camera works great but without the app play back is not available at an accident site. And I had to get an app to play back, unreadable codex. Have purchased another dashcam with a rear camera that doesn't require an app and has on screen, live playback.

Videos wont download correctly. I download one and it will only play on the app if it's still connected to the camera. After downloading the video it makes a folder on my phone and the video is completely unplayable. Just a gray picture without a play button but it shows it's taking up the same amount of space as the video. Definatly need an update to fix that for the dash cam costing over $100. Update Sent an email and left this review and a month later and I still haven't gotten a response

Unable to update my time and date and toggle parking sensor on or off as it reverts to staying off. Every time I format and edit the app and come back it hasn't worked. To pay what do I did for the camera you'd think the app would at least have control of the camera.
