About this game

Respect. Money. Power.
Are you clever and ruthless enough to rise to the top of the criminal underworld?

Deal product and build your empire in multiple scenarios from 1980s Baltimore to Los Angeles and more. Match wits against cartels, bikers and rival street gangs all powered by three levels of advanced AI.

Respect is a tactical game of keeping one step ahead of your enemies. You manage your soldiers, upgrade your weapons, and compete for the best corners in the city. Use spies to track down your rivals' stash houses, and drive-bys to soften your enemies. Bolster your defenses with heavy weaponry and send your hardest soldiers to execute unexpected raids. But don't forget to keep an eye on your own men; out on the streets, RESPECT is everything and disloyalty is your greatest enemy. If a soldier steps out of line, you need to respond. Settle disputes, promote lieutenants, throw lavish parties, track down valuable rumors, intimidate snitches and keep off the heat with crooked lawyers to protect your crew.

Don't let the retro style fool you; RESPECT is an unforgiving simulation of life on the street, dealing product and making tough decisions.

Three difficulty settings provide additional challenge as you work your way up to Original Gangsta

Playable Cities include: 1980's Baltimore, 2010's Albuquerque and unlockable 1920s Chicago, 2010s Rio, 1990s Los Angeles, and 1980s Miami.

This game is ad-free, offline, turn-based, and optimized to the smallest file size, making it the least annoying game available on the app store.

This game has great potential, but simply put, ITS TOO HARD! Even on the easiest difficulty "regular" the shop hardly ever sells the Heavy Weapons and the other teams get to start with them? By the second turn they'll have them and you'll struggle with Large Weapons at best. They also progress so much faster and put a ridiculous amount of pressure on you by the 5th or 6th turn in. This game could be fun, I want it to be, but right now it's just frustrating. Good potential, semi-frustrating 3/5.

Good game I love the new updates with Miami and custom maps. I would also like to see more factions and character customizations for the gangs. Also on custom maps it would be nice to be able to change which gang you want to play as on the map. So you can be orange purple or yellow. Also color customization for enemies.

I understand this game is old, but the replay value never gets stale. It really deserves a threequel, because there are a lot of mechanics that the game deserves but I can tell the engine probably can't do. (Salvaging weapons with snoop from recent gang wars, elaboration on the drive by mechanic, etc). it's still insane how well it holds up though, although I do think that the 1920's dlc needs a new coat of paint because the others have several new features and lieutenant options and it doesn't.
