About this app

KeepItFound helps you remember where physical items are stored across homes, garages, shops, RVs, rooms, shelves, bins, cabinets, and other real-world spaces.

Create a clear hierarchy of buildings, rooms, storage locations, and containers. Add items manually or from a photo, then record quantities, categories, tags, notes, model and serial details, photos, documents, and the exact place each item belongs.

Find and manage your inventory:
• Browse and search confirmed items by name, category, tag, location, or item details.
• Open readable location paths so you can find the right room, shelf, bin, or container.
• Add, edit, move, and archive inventory records.
• Capture or select photos and attach receipts, warranties, manuals, and other supporting files.
• Scan or enter QR labels to find or link items and spaces.
• Use Ask AI to locate confirmed inventory, answer app questions, and prepare supported changes.
• Review AI suggestions and proposed actions before any confirmed inventory record changes.
• Export supported inventory data and share it from Android.
• Browse previously synced inventory while temporarily offline; changes require an authenticated connection.

KeepItFound is built around confirmed inventory truth. AI and photo-derived details remain suggestions until you review and confirm them. Camera access is requested only when you choose a camera action. The app does not request microphone or device-location permission.

A KeepItFound account is required. Internet access is required for sign-in, synchronization, AI, QR resolution, file processing, and inventory changes.
