About this app

Orbit is a simple, fast to-do list manager that organizes your tasks into categories.

WHAT ORBIT DOES

Create lists to structure your day: groceries, work, personal projects, travel... Each list has its own color (cyan, purple, amber, green or gold) and shows how many tasks it holds, so you can take everything in at a glance.

Tap a list to open it and see its tasks; tap its title at the top to go back.

Inside a list, add your tasks and manage them with simple gestures:
- Tap the + button to add a task — paste several lines to create several tasks at once
- Swipe a task to the right (or long-press it) to edit it
- Swipe a task to the left to delete it, with an Undo button in case you change your mind
- Reorder your tasks by drag and drop using the handle on the left of each task

Lists work the same way: swipe right to rename or duplicate, swipe left to delete, long-press to reorder them.

You can also share text from any other app straight into one of your lists.

FIELD MODE, FOR STARGAZING

Turn on field mode and Orbit switches to red on black, the classic way to keep your night vision intact while you read a checklist at the telescope. The screen also stays awake as long as the mode is on.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU

Orbit works entirely offline: no Internet connection required, no account to create, no tracking. Your lists are stored only on your device — and you can export them to a file whenever you want, then import them back on another device.

A DARK, RESTFUL INTERFACE

Orbit features a dark theme inspired by deep-sky observation: a night-blue background with glowing accents, comfortable to read day and night, on phones and tablets alike.

Whether it is for your groceries, your work or your projects, Orbit keeps your ideas organized and in motion.

What’s new

What's new:

- Fixed: a task moved by drag and drop could jump back to its previous position when you returned to the app.
- Fixed: holding the drag handle no longer opens the edit dialog by mistake.
- Wide screens — tablets, unfolded foldables and phones held in landscape — now keep your lists in a comfortable centred column instead of stretching them edge to edge.
