Ratings and reviews

I liked the expressive animation, I liked that there was more unique content than before, and the gags are pretty funny. I dislike the redesign and the new voice for similar reasons; they're not *bad*, but just doesn't feel like Tom. The game also feels overly paywalled but that tracks for Outfit7. Above all else, I wish older versions of Talking Tom Cat were still officially available, but I hope this game signals a return to form.

I feel like Max Dominguez is the only one not blinded by nostalgia...besides the paywalls and Tom's voice, this game pretty much got better in every way. People forget how insanely little there was to do in the 2016 version! the 2010 version had way worse graphics as well. I feel like this is still undeniably Tom, just more expressive. That's a good thing, by the way? Are we forgetting that? Only real problem is the voice. Still just 3.5 stars, don't get me wrong, but the hate is WAY overblown.

★☆☆☆☆ — Ruined my childhood favorite ​Talking Tom Cat was the first game I ever played, and it got me through everything. I played it every single day. The brand new update completely ruined it. He's a cat—he is not supposed to wear clothes! The new mechanics are terrible, and it feels completely unrecognizable. Please bring the old version back! ​Also, please don't change the other games.they are perfect the way they are
