Every message, photo, voice note, and file is protected with end-to-end encryption using the Signal Protocol — the same cryptography trusted by security experts worldwide. Encryption keys never leave your device. Not even we can read what you send.

What’s new

Fixes an empty chat list after an update (your chats were never deleted — close the app fully and reopen if you saw one). Chat Backup now restores photos, voice notes and videos properly and shows what was restored. Linking a second device now brings over all your messages, and chats you deleted stay deleted on your other devices.
