💾 I created a character and Saved or Exported it. Where do I find the files?

Since the latest changes in Android 10, applications are now only allowed to write data into their respective data folder. To find your saved file simply open your phone’s internal storage and locate the Android/data/com.overheadgames.epicgenerator/files/save folder.

👩 But what is ePic Character Generator in the first place?

ePic Character Generator is not a game. It is an excellent tool for anyone who wants to create realistic character avatars in no time. You can simply choose what items to display on your character, save as an image on a preset or transparent background, and use it for anything you would like to. You don't have to worry about lighting or finding the right camera angles, as everything has been prerendered and post worked for you, so creating characters is really just a matter of clicking some buttons! Using the Portrait package you can even create hand-drawn style images very easily.

👨🏿 Who uses this software?

The software is mainly used by role-players to illustrate their player and non-player characters, but don't have the resources to create or buy many unique characters that fit their needs. The option to save the images as tokens and cards simultaneously even reduces the work needed to use the pictures in a session moments after they've been created. The characters can be saved and loaded using our custom file format, which enables an easy way to manage character progression, as changing little details are quick and convenient.

👹 I need character images for my projects, can I use these commercially?

The generated images can be used in commercial products as well. You may find card games, board games, and books illustrated with the images created by ePic Character Generator.

text too small on my Note 8 to read anything! It took a long time to install then when I finally got my free character, the app wants to log in as someone else?!? #$ Confused so uninstalled. The Dev needs to fix the bugs and give clear instructions on how to use. I also would NOT pay the prices for the other character packs. Just want a 3D avatar maker for my PS4 character, but can't seem to find one that doesn't look like silly Japanese cartoons!

As other people said everything is locked behind an expensive paywall. You can get a few free packs by doing the tutorial and linking Google, and steam accounts but you have no idea what you're getting without seeing a preview. It seems you have to buy things 3 times for male, female and bulky characters to be able to use everything. There's potential here but it's too costly for what you get. It's cheaper to hire someone on fiver to draw my dnd characters and tell them what i want

Seems ok, but not optimized for phone. Logging on to correct account is dodgy, and requires typing very fast, before Google Authorization kicks in all the way, I can't seem to get all the packs to work together, (trying to do an elf sorceress) and save and logout aren't working for me. And stupid tutorial keeps coming on. Probably be great on a computer.
