About this game

You arrive alone in the wilderness with only your hands and what the land provides. Gather resources, build a home and endure the changing seasons. Then a stray dog crosses your path. Feed it, earn its trust and raise a loyal companion that never leaves your side.

By My Side is a cozy open-world survival-craft game about building a life, surviving together and the bond between you and your dog.

YOUR COMPANION
Find and tame a stray dog, watch it grow and bring it on your adventures. Your companion follows commands and warns you of danger.

BUILD YOUR HOME
Go from a simple campfire to a multi-story homestead with a greenhouse. Place foundations, walls, roofs and furnishings freely.

SURVIVE THE SEASONS
Stay warm, fed and dry as spring, summer, autumn and a merciless winter transform the world.

LIVE OFF THE LAND
Grow crops, raise animals, fish and hunt. Build your own power and water network with solar panels, batteries, pumps, heaters and sprinklers.

Choose unforgiving Survival with one life and permadeath, or the more relaxed Story mode where your home and world endure after defeat.

PLAY TOGETHER
Explore and build alone or join friends in online co-op across Android and Steam using simple join codes.

ANDROID EDITION
The Android edition contains ads and optional in-app purchases. Interstitial ads may appear after sleeping. Optional rewarded videos can activate a temporary boost that doubles collected items. Coins bought through in-app purchases can be exchanged for clearly marked material bundles in the shop; the price is shown before every purchase. The survival progression remains playable without buying coins.
