The TDS600 equipment reduces the cost of the solar pumping system in two aspects: they increase its efficiency, and reduce the operational and
maintenance.
The efficiency increases by allowing the operation of the pump in less bright conditions, using the MPPT (maximum power point tracking) algorithm, decreasing its speed. This can translate into a smaller solar panel, or eliminating the need for batteries or diesel generation. The suppression of these components supposes a lower initial cost in the installation of the pumping system.
On the other hand, when operating at lower speed, the pump suffers less wear, increasing its operational life and decreasing maintenance and repair costs.
The TDS600 speed variators have the added advantage of operating with hybrid power, so that you can choose between solar energy and an external AC source, when it exists (at night or in bad weather).
