OMU Studio 1.0 is an AI-based music production studio that makes the process of transforming ideas into music easier and faster. It is designed to go beyond simply inputting prompts and receiving results, allowing users to experience the entire process of creating, saving, publishing, and repurposing music within a single flow. This first official launch is the first version, enhanced with a focus on the "actual user experience that extends beyond creation" rather than just "creation itself."

The most significant feature is the diversity of entry points for production. Users are no longer forced to create music in a vague manner; instead, they can easily select a starting point that matches their desired purpose or mood. OMU Studio is structured to provide various production categories—such as Theme Zone, Genre Zone, Kids Zone, Game Zone, Brand Zone, and Persona Zone—enabling users to begin their musical journey with a clearer direction from the very beginning. These categories are not merely expanded menu options; they incorporate professional prompt design and category structure to help users more quickly establish the tone and style of their final output.

The Genre Zone covers a wide range of genres, including Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Rock, Jazz, Electronic Music, EDM, Techno, Drum & Bass, Synthwave, Amateur Piano, Ballad, K-POP, Lo-Fi/Chill, Cinematic/OST, Funk/Disco, Blues, Reggae/Ska, and Acoustic/Country. It goes beyond simple broad categories to include subcategories and detailed prompts that can be immediately utilized during actual production. This allows users to control their musical output with a more refined sense of style.

In particular, this release significantly enhances the Kids Zone and Game Zone. The Kids Zone has been expanded with a much richer structure than before. It is designed to cover a wider variety of situations and moods that children enjoy, including not only Animation OSTs but also Sing-Along, Animal Friends, Fantasy Musicals, Hero Action, Life Skills, and Bedtime Themes, as well as Vehicles/Racing, Role Play, Learning Quiz, and Seasons/Events. Each category is designed based on advanced prompts tailored for children's content, taking into account vocabulary levels, rhythm, repetition structures, and mood safety, enabling the production of more practical results.

The Game Zone has also expanded beyond simple background music to include genre structures usable in actual game content. Themes corresponding to real-world game scenes have been added, such as Fantasy RPG, Battle/Boss Battle, Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk, Horror/Survival, Puzzle/Casual, Racing/Speed, Pixel/Retro, and Strategy/Simulation. Within each theme, users can select detailed sound directions tailored to the actual gameplay flow, including Field, Town, Dungeon, Combat, Chase, Briefing, Management, and Clear. As a result, OMU Studio has established a foundation for broader applications, extending beyond general music production to include BGM, content sound, and atmospheric sound for games.

The post-production experience is also a core element of OMU Studio 1.0. Users can save their created music to their library, review and organize it as needed, and manage it by album or playlist. Furthermore, the system is designed so that converting the tracks to public audio allows for sharing with others via a link, enabling the resulting output to be delivered externally as a standalone piece of content. This is a crucial step in ensuring that AI music does not end merely as a “test run,” but leads to creative works that are actually enjoyed and reused.

The player experience has also been significantly refined in this version. We have stabilized the player’s basic flow—including playback, minimization, closing, and restoring after a refresh—and adjusted the UI to prevent it from being cut off or awkwardly overlapping in mobile environments. Users can enjoy a more natural and consistent playback experience across the site, and the flow of creating, listening to, and returning to music is much smoother than before.

Mobile usability was also a key area for improvement. Moving away from a desktop-centric structure, OMU Studio 1.0 continuously refined the layout, button structure, bottom navigation, and interaction flow to ensure that production and management are not difficult on mobile devices. Premium tools and the production screen have also been organized for more intuitive use on mobile, and configurations for a PWA and Android app have been prepared for an installable experience that feels like an app. Through this, users can work more freely by switching between browser, mobile, and app-based environments depending on the situation.

Visual aspects have also been improved. We repeatedly refined the designs of key touchpoints—such as the main hero area, CTA buttons, mobile icons, category thumbnails, and public music cards—to ensure the service is not merely feature-rich, but one that leaves a lasting brand impression even on first-time users. In particular, we reorganized the thumbnail system to ensure a stable appearance without omissions and aligned standards between the Admin and Studio screens to minimize operational confusion.

The Admin functions were also organized with actual operation in mind from the initial launch. We improved common operational issues—such as category management, user management, recent login information, genre synchronization, and thumbnail management—and ensured that the structure visible in the Studio screen is displayed in the Admin screen with the same standards as much as possible. This serves as a crucial foundation for the service to evolve from a simple demo into a structure capable of continuous operation.

In summary, while OMU Studio 1.0 is the first version to unveil the AI ​​music generation service, it is not merely a "generator" but the first official Studio version that encompasses the flow of actual creation and utilization. It is designed to allow users to create, save, publish, and share music, as well as utilize it for a wider range of purposes, providing a broad starting point for production that considers genre, situation, target audience, and content objectives. This 1.0 release marks the first official starting point for establishing a benchmark for OMU Studio, which will be further expanded in the future.
