Someone in your household is drowning in admin. Bills, renewals, appointments, forms — not because they can't handle them, but because there's too much of it, or because ADHD, recovery, or a new baby has made keeping track the hardest part of the day.
You already remember for both of you. OxSlate makes that work instead of making it exhausting.
HOW IT WORKS
You keep a board of everything you're carrying for them — a bill, a dentist appointment, a passport renewal. OxSlate delivers one thing at a time to their phone, worded calmly, at the right moment. No list. No backlog. No "you have 7 things to do."
They see one reminder, with your name on it and a Done button. That's it.
TWO PHONES, TWO ROLES
You are the supporter. You add reminders, set the pacing, and see what's been handed over. You pay for the app if you choose to.
They are the recipient. They get reminders. No account, no password, no sign-up, no paywall. One tap to connect, and everything after that just arrives.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
- One at a time. They never see a queue. The next thing arrives only when the last one is done, snoozed, or due.
- No nagging. Reminders get calmer each time they come back, not louder. Nothing in this app uses the word "overdue."
- No surveillance. You see that something was delivered, done, or snoozed. You never see when, how long it took, or whether it was opened. There are no read receipts, no completion rates, and no streaks — and the code is built so those can never be added.
- They're always in control. A pause switch stops everything instantly. Disconnect ends the connection, and you can't undo it — only they can accept a new invitation.
- No data about the recipient. The person getting reminders never makes an account and is never asked for personal information. Their phone schedules everything locally, so reminders arrive even with no internet.
BUILT FOR HOUSEHOLDS WHERE THINGS GET MISSED
OxSlate was designed around ADHD, executive function challenges, recovery, and caregiving — situations where the problem isn't forgetting, it's being overwhelmed. The delivery engine adapts to five different profiles:
- Everyday (ADHD): short, direct, spaced further apart each time.
- Recovering: slower, softer, no implied deadline.
- New parent: wide delivery windows instead of exact times.
- Eldercare: spoken aloud, repeated steadily.
- Autism: identical wording, same times, no surprises.
You choose the right one during setup. They never know it was chosen.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Add reminders by typing, or say several out loud and confirm what was heard.
- Snap a photo of a bill and let the app read the date, amount, and reference.
- Set due dates, repeats, and categories.
- See what's been handed over and what's still yours.
- Connect with up to two people on separate boards.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
- Push notifications carry no words. The phone writes the reminder from its own copy, so the push provider never sees what you wrote.
- Photos you attach stay on your device. Only "Snap a bill" sends a photo, and it's read once and discarded — never stored.
- Speech is transcribed on your device. No audio is uploaded.
- Email sign-in stores a hash of the address, not the address itself.
- No ads, no tracking SDKs, no analytics on the recipient's side, ever.
