Messages by OzarksMade handles SMS, MMS and RCS chats in one app, on the phone you already have.

■ Two ways to use it

Standalone Mode. Make Messages by OzarksMade your default messaging app and send texts and multimedia messages straight from your phone. Nothing else to install.

Companion Mode. Link with Google Messages and keep chat features like typing indicators, read receipts, reactions and end-to-end encrypted conversations, while Messages by OzarksMade gives you the interface. Google Messages already comes on most Android phones, so there is nothing to download and nothing to migrate.

Ratings and reviews

Sadly I've only been able to pair with Google messages a total of 3 times. Each time it the pairing disconnects if I leave the app. Trying to pair again afterwards never works. contacted developer but they just provide instructions on pairing the device.

its okay but... it needs alot of work. the link between this app and Google messages disconnects often. Voice memos, photos and video don't go through when I send them. Some of the features are greyed out stating that the feature is coming soon.. on the flip side the customization is amazing. ui feels smooth and nice. its really easy to use. But some of the things I mentioned makes this app really hard to use sometimes.

this is exactly what I needed after the forced switch to Google messages. I can categorize messages so I can easly find my work messages even if it's been weeks since I've messaged them.Pin my everyday messages to the top and easly swith to work category just like Samsung messages used to offer.

Welcome to the first Production release of Messages by OzarksMade! Thanks to our Closed Beta testers, the app has significantly improved over the past three weeks. Development is continuing with frequent updates to refine the experience, resolve reported issues, and add new features. Some features are coming soon.
