GoodTurn helps you remember every small favor you promise to a neighbor, from watering plants and feeding pets to collecting mail or walking a dog. The app wraps your task list in a warm chalkboard look, with a dark green board, a wooden tray at the bottom, and all text appearing as if it were handwritten by real chalk. Adding a favor takes just a moment—you write a short description, enter the neighbor’s name, choose a task type, and optionally set a due date. The Active tab organizes all pending favors by due date, showing each one as a chalk line underlined in a specific color like sky blue for watering, warm brown for pet care, or mint green for mail so you can instantly recognize the kind of errand waiting for you. When a favor is done, it moves to the Completed tab, where a soft eraser smudge gently overlays the handwritten text to create a ghosted impression instead of a harsh checkmark. The Dashboard greets you with large chalk tallies—one counts how many favors are still pending, and a smaller smudged tally shows how many you finished this week. Right below those counters, the three most urgent pending favors appear as quick scribbles with the neighbor’s name and the due date, so your next step is always clear. If you need to find a specific entry, the Search tab lets you look up favors by description or neighbor name, and the matching results appear in the same hand-drawn chalk style. You can edit any favor to change its details or delete it entirely, keeping your board neat and focused on what still matters. All your favor data stays safely on your device, which means you never need an account or an internet connection to keep your chalkboard up to date. The surface even shows subtle leftover chalk dust and faint erased marks from earlier sessions, giving it the feel of a real community board that’s always at hand. The bottom wooden tray holds four colored chalk sticks that work as navigation, with the active stick glowing gently so you always know which tab you’re viewing. GoodTurn turns the simple habit of tracking neighborly kindness into a calm, satisfying routine that helps you follow through on every promise. From a quick midday mail pickup to a weekend pet-sitting favor, this app makes sure no good turn goes unremembered.
