About this game

Padamz is a daily word game. One hidden word, six tries, a fresh puzzle every day — and everyone playing in the same language gets the same word.

PLAY IN TEN LANGUAGES
Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, English, Spanish and Dutch. Each language has its own word list and its own keyboard, so you are always guessing a real word in that language — never a Roman spelling of one.
Prefer typing in English? Transliteration input is built in: type "padam" and
the tile fills in the native script.

BUILT PROPERLY FOR INDIAN SCRIPTS
In Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi, Bengali and Gujarati, one tile holds
a whole akshara. Padamz scores the consonant and the vowel sign separately, so a partly correct letter shows a half-lit tile instead of a flat "wrong". If you have ever wondered why word games do not quite work in Indian languages, that is the reason — and this is the fix.

Share your result as a spoiler-free grid of coloured squares, or send a
challenge link so a friend plays the exact same word and sees both boards side by side.

MADE TO BE COMFORTABLE
Four themes: Gold, warm maroon and gold; Stars, a deep night sky; Blossoms; and Forest. Symbols mode marks the tiles for colour-blind players instead of relying on colour alone. Sound and haptics are optional, reduced motion is respected, and hard mode is there when six tries feels too easy.

NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN-UP
Padamz asks for nothing. No login, no email, no personal details, no location
permission. Your stats stay on your device, and the game keeps working offline once it has loaded.

Free to play, with ads. Practice mode gives you unlimited extra words once you have finished the day's puzzle.

What’s new

The Android app is now completely ad-free.

Maze Wordz: the foxes start across the board instead of right beside you, so every round gets a fair opening. Both bunnies are brighter, and stay bright while you are carrying coins.

Catch Wordz: the top bar and the SHOOT button no longer hide behind your phone's status and navigation bars.

Cross Wordz: the close and leaderboard buttons no longer overlap.

The "turn your phone" screen now reminds you the back button leaves the game.
