Paedcentric replaces the paper you're currently using to run a paediatric ward round.
Built by a house officer, for house officers
Paedcentric was built by a Nigerian paediatric house officer who was tired of rewriting the same patient details every round, recalculating drug volumes by hand at 3am, and losing track of which doses were already given. It's designed to be used one-handed, in a noisy ward, by someone who's exhausted — not by someone with time to learn a complicated app.
Drug doses, calculated automatically
Add a drug and Paedcentric calculates the weight-based dose and volume for you, checked against BNF for Children maximum-dose limits. If a dose would exceed the safe maximum, you have to deliberately type "EXCEED" to confirm it — so you can never accidentally give an overdose by mistyping a number.
Nothing overdue falls off your list
Every dose and monitoring task gets scheduled automatically and stays visible until it's actually done — overdue tasks don't quietly disappear. Local notifications remind you when something's due and again if it's still outstanding, even without an internet connection.
Handover in one tap
Generate a clean, structured handover — patient details, active drugs and doses, pending investigations, outstanding tasks — and share it straight to WhatsApp or text. No more re-typing the same summary for the next doctor on shift.
Built for your units
Paedcentric is organised the way your ward actually works: Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU), Children's Emergency Ward (CHEW), and the general Paediatric Ward, each with their own patient list.
Works offline, syncs when you're back online
Nigerian hospital WiFi isn't reliable. Paedcentric works fully offline and syncs your data to the cloud the moment you have a connection, so nothing is lost between shifts or devices.
Private by default
Only you can see the patients you add. Your data is encrypted in transit and stored securely. Paedcentric has no ads and never will.
Paedcentric is a clinical support tool. It does not replace your own clinical judgement, your unit's protocols, or supervision from senior staff — it exists to reduce the manual work and manual errors around calculation and tracking, so you can focus on the patient in front of you.
