DetectlogPro is a premium multi platform app that not only supports you logging and viewing finds, but also use custom historic maps and hillshade overlays to improve your chances in the field.
Standard Features:
- Use Google Standard maps (satellite, road, terrain)
- Record finds in the field, capturing unlimited photos and documentation about your item, including entering PAS references or website URL's that can be opened when viewing the find later.
- View and search finds and their pictures
- Share find card or pictures with friends
- Track your route in the field (automatically turns off when you start moving faster than a human is supposed to go!).
- Filter finds using date ranges, hash tags, and ones with PAS references.
- Import GPKG files that have been exported from your other finds recording application to allow you to quickly populate your database with your previous finds.
Premium Features (requires subscription)
- Google Drive synchronisation to backup your finds and share with other devices (such as desktop or tablet). This can also be used to share your finds repository with a friend and on the map view have their finds images marked by a blue border. The export files are plain text + your photos and free to use in other applications.
- Add custom maps such as those from National Library of Scotland by pasting in a URL into the settings on DetectLogPro. This enables you in the field to see exactly where you are on the historic map and detect along long gone footpaths or buildings.
- Add enhanced MBTiles hillshade (LIDaR) files that can be toggled on/off on the custom map views. You can generate and export these using QGIS or using a simple tool that will soon be available from our website.
- Print Barcode Finds labels that can be printed on 3x7 labels (the barcode will launch DetectLogPro and show the find when you scan with your camera).
- Print coin case edge labels
- Print A5 finds cards
- Print Storage report. This is all your finds grouped by your storage locations so you can easily see what is where.
- View hashtag totals (each find can have infinite custom hash tags).
- Export data to CSV
