🔢 Neon Number Puzzle

Matbet is a mobile number-merging puzzle with classic 2048 rules, responsive swipe controls, and a bright neon visual style. Move every tile with one gesture, combine matching values, open new spaces, and continue building larger numbers. Matbet is designed for phone play, so the screen stays fixed while horizontal and vertical swipes control the board.

👆 Swipe in Four Directions

Swipe left, right, up, or down to move all tiles in that direction. A short tap does nothing, and a swipe that does not change the board does not create a new tile. After every successful move, exactly one new tile appears in an empty cell. New tiles begin with a value of 2 or 4.

Matbet uses a one-swipe, one-move system. This prevents extra numbers from appearing without a valid action.

➕ Merge Matching Tiles

When two equal tiles meet, they combine into one tile with double the value:

2 + 2 becomes 4
4 + 4 becomes 8
8 + 8 becomes 16
16 + 16 becomes 32

The sequence continues through 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, and larger values if you keep playing.

Matbet follows the standard one-merge-per-tile rule. A row with 2, 2, 2, and 2 becomes 4 and 4 after one swipe. It does not become 8 immediately, keeping every move clear and predictable.

✨ Neon Visual Style

Each value has its own glowing color. Small tiles use blue and cyan shades, middle values move through purple, pink, red, and orange, while larger tiles use bright yellow, green, and cyan effects.

New tiles appear with a short scale animation. Merged tiles pulse, and the added score briefly appears above the board. Matbet highlights the 2048 tile with a stronger glow.

🧩 Three Board Sizes

Matbet includes three selectable layouts:

🔹 4×4 Classic — compact and focused.
🔷 5×5 Large — more room for longer number chains.
🟣 6×6 Huge — the widest board for extended sessions.

Each layout keeps the same movement and merging rules. Matbet stores the current board and score separately for each size, so switching layouts does not erase another active game.

📊 Score and Highest Tile

The score increases whenever a merge creates a new value. Creating an 8 tile adds 8 points, creating a 64 tile adds 64 points, and later combinations follow the same rule.

Matbet displays the current score, the stored record for the selected board size, and the highest tile currently visible.

↶ Undo the Previous Move

Matbet includes Undo for the most recent successful swipe. It restores the board and score from immediately before that move and removes the tile that appeared afterward.

Only one previous move is stored. After Undo is used, the control remains unavailable until another successful swipe is completed.

🔄 Restart the Board

Restart clears the selected layout and places exactly two starting tiles into random empty cells. It also resets the current score, Undo state, and completion state while keeping the stored record.

🏆 Reach 2048

The main objective in Matbet is to create the 2048 tile. When it appears, a result window shows the current score and confirms completion.

You can continue the same board after reaching 2048 or begin a new game. Matbet ends the session only when every cell is occupied and no matching horizontal or vertical neighbors remain.

💾 Local Continuation

Matbet stores the current board, score, completion state, and record on the device. The 4×4, 5×5, and 6×6 layouts are stored separately.

No account creation, online opponent, public ranking, chat, tournament system, timed round, or external score table is included.

📱 Focused Phone Gameplay

Matbet keeps the interface compact and easy to read. The screen contains board-size selection, score information, Undo, Restart, and the swipe-controlled number board.
