About this app

Paletta picks one color that suits you each day, and lets you write a single line about your day on top of that color. Day by day, your color diary grows into a calendar, then a whole year in color.

A first short survey learns your taste and temperament. From there, your daily color is chosen from the season, the weather, and your own persona — and a reason and a short story always come with it.

• Today's color — a different color every day, and why it was chosen
• A line a day — hold today's mood and story inside the color
• A calendar of days — colors gather into a month, then a year
• Color dex — 492 named colors and 69 color stories, from ultramarine to indigo
