About this app

the CityRadio offers a Live listening experience of radio stations organized by city.
For the first time the experience of listening to live music and broadcasts from international cities’ local radio stations is made possible through a physical object, to be touched and listened to.
the CityRadio App is the application - supplied with the appliance - that allows this city radio to operate.
the App displays a list of radio stations (FM or web radio), categorized by city, which broadcast their programs via streaming.

In order to guarantee the reproduction of the streaming flows, the device on which the app is installed must always have an active data connection.
Through the CityRadio App you can:

• view the list of available cities
• choose and change the selection of the 9 cities that configure your CityRadio
• enable and disable streaming playback of radio stations
• scroll through the radio stations available for each city
• store your favorite station for each city. This station will be played first the next time you listen.

The streaming flows of over 60,000 available radios are ensured for quality and transmission speed by an exclusive agreement between Palomar and one of the most accredited streaming flow providers in the world

Ratings and reviews

The app installed and went through its 1-2-3 setup guide. The device paired to my Galaxy S9 just fine. However, the app subsequently crashed. Now it crashes immediately upon start. I rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app, tried a different Android phone, made sure location services is turned on, etc. -- but the app still crashes each time it tries to start. Very disappointing.

Frequently blanks out and won't connect. Have tried reinstalling numerous times. When it works, it's great. But it often does not work. Three months later, update: now the app never works. I just use the BBC radio app for dozens of stations in the UK, or I listen to Amazon's music app for podcasts and tunes that I can hear thru the city radio box.

App hangs on launch, took many tries manually picking stations before finding one station in one city that worked, but that stopped when I tried to open the app again. Can't imagine trying to switch out city buttons and expecting it to connect. Do not buy this shifty speaker that costs twice as much as a jambox, sounds worse, and is tied to this shi-tzu app. Don't bother downloading the app is you haven't opened the box yet, get a refund.
