pretty awesome app! The set up is a lot different from other language learning apps but the whole idea is to actually gain spanish fluency instead of memorizing words. id recommend jumping around the lessons and activities a bit if you've already know some spanish. easy to use, has milestones, records progress and theres no owl guilt tripping because you missed a day.

May be great? But pricing withheld until the end of onboarding . Frankly, I wouldn't have bothered if I'd known the pricing upfront, and I did look to find it. I feel like app relies on sunk cost fallacy to invest in setup time, and only then are you hit with the $100/yr price tag. Even with a 7-day free trial, I'm definitely not chancing forgetting to cancel. Transparency would have helped build trust reducing frustration with wasted time.

The activities are fun to do. There is enough variety of exercises to match my mood of the day. Some days, I want to be interactive, and other days, I just listen and work in silence. I love the pronunciation recording. What I hear on the playback helps me to identify what letters and accents I'm struggling with. I was certain I repeated correctly till I heard it back in my own voice, I had lots of laughs and fun trying. I would highly recommend giving Palteca a try!
