PE Streaming turns any Fire TV or Android TV into a digital menu board for your restaurant.
Plug in a streaming stick, pair it with a 4-character code, and the screen above your counter starts showing your live menu: dish names, descriptions, prices and photos, straight from the menu you already keep in Panda Eats. Change a price on the dashboard and the board follows. Nobody has to touch the TV again.
WHAT IT SHOWS
- Dine-in menu boards. Your categories and items, laid out for a room to read from across it, paging through your menu on a timer.
- Specials. A separate board for the things you want noticed today.
- Promotions. Your running offers, in the same place your guests are already looking.
You choose which boards a screen plays, and in what order, from the Streaming section of your Panda Eats dashboard. A screen in the dining room can show something different from the one at the counter.
HOW SETUP WORKS
1. Install PE Streaming on your Fire TV or Android TV.
2. The TV shows a 4-character pairing code.
3. In Panda Eats, open Online Ordering, then Streaming, then Screens, and enter that code.
That is the whole setup. There is no account to create on the TV and nothing to type with a remote beyond the code.
BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE
A menu board runs unattended for months, so this app is built for that. It keeps itself awake and on screen, reconnects on its own when the internet drops, and comes back after a power cut on the devices whose systems allow it. If the connection goes quiet it says so on screen rather than sitting on a frozen page. Staff can press Menu on the remote for a status panel, a reconnect button and a way out.
Your menu is drawn by Panda Eats and kept up to date automatically, so a new board or a new dish is a change you make once, on the dashboard, not a thing you reinstall.
WHAT IT IS NOT
This is a display, not a point of sale. It does not take orders, hold customer information, or accept payments. It shows what you have already published in Panda Eats.
REQUIREMENTS
PE Streaming is for restaurants that use Panda Eats for online ordering. You need a Panda Eats account with at least one restaurant and a menu to display. Works on Fire TV and Android TV devices running Android 7.1 or later.
