Before you play, thirty seconds of tuning makes everything after sound better. This guitar tuner listens through the mic and shows how sharp or flat each string is on a cents gauge, with the needle settling in the center when you're in tune.

It picks up the note you play and points you to the nearest string, so you can go around the neck quickly. When a string lands in tune, a small vibration lets you know without staring at the screen. Beyond standard guitar, there are presets for bass and ukulele, a violin setting, and a chromatic mode for anything else.
