A run you cannot follow at full speed is not a practice problem, it is a tempo problem. Open the file you already have and take the speed down until your hands can keep up.
Anywhere from a quarter of the original tempo up to double it, by preset, by slider, or one percent at a time. Pitch correction stays on by default, so slowing a solo down leaves it in the same key instead of turning it into a low blur.
- Speed from twenty-five to two hundred percent
- Seven presets between the two ends of the range
- One percent steps for the awkward tempos
- Keep the original key while the speed changes
- Set A, then Set B, and that section repeats
- Jump back or forward five seconds
- The screen stays on while a file is open
Leave the app or turn the screen off and the audio carries on, with a pause button and a seek bar on the lock screen. Each file you open is remembered with the speed and the loop points you left on it, so picking practice back up takes one tap.
Nothing is uploaded, no account is made, and the app never asks for the media permission because you hand it one file at a time.
Slow a passage down without dropping the key, and loop the bar until it sticks.
