PipeFitter Calc works out pipe offsets and gives you the finished cut length — the number you actually mark on the pipe.
Enter the offset you need and the fitting angle. You get travel, run, the takeout at each end and the end-to-end cut, with the diagram to go with it.
SIMPLE AND ROLLING OFFSETS
Standard angles (11 1/4, 22 1/2, 30, 45, 60) or any angle you type. A rolling offset takes rise and roll and gives you the true offset, the travel, and the angle to roll the fittings to.
EXACT MULTIPLIERS, NOT SHOP RULES
The 45 degree multiplier here is 1.41421, not the 1.5 rule of thumb — on a 30 inch offset that shortcut is off by more than two and a half inches. Every result shows the multiplier and takeout it used, so you can check the work before you cut.
TAKEOUTS BUILT IN
Buttweld elbow takeouts per the published ASME B16.9 dimensions, including the small-size values where the usual ratios do not hold. Socket weld, threaded or shop-made fittings: enter the takeout once and save it.
INCHES WITH REAL FRACTIONS
A glove-sized pad with sixteenths on it. Type 18, tap 3/16, done — no converting to decimals in your head. Or switch the whole app to millimetres.
SHARE THE CUT SHEET
Send the diagram and every dimension as one image to whoever is cutting.
WORKS IN THE SHOP
No account, no sign-in, no connection needed. Everything is calculated on the phone, and the saved fittings stay there.
The app is supported by ads. There are none between entering a number and seeing the result.
This is a calculator, not an inspector — check every figure against your own measurements and fittings before cutting.
