Panels is a clean, fast home screen for Android — and it fits whatever screen it lands on.
Works on any phone running Android 12 or newer. Material You takes its color from your wallpaper, and the whole layout is yours to arrange.
FITS EVERY SCREEN, INCLUDING THE ONES THAT CHANGE
Panels sizes itself by how much room it actually has, so it is at home on a normal phone, on a tablet, and in a split-screen window. On a foldable, it goes further: separate grids, icon sizes, and dock layouts for folded and unfolded, so your apps land where you expect instead of being stretched to fit.
COMING FROM NOVA
Import a Nova Launcher backup and Panels rebuilds your home screens, folders, dock and app groups from it. Widgets come across as positioned slots — Android will not let a widget itself move between installs, so each one needs a single tap to re-add.
A DRAWER THAT SORTS ITSELF - Panels Pro
Automatic grouping files your apps into categories, so the drawer opens to something organized instead of a single long alphabetical list. Move an app somewhere yourself and it stays put — grouping never overrides a decision you made.

SEARCH THAT REACHES FURTHER
One field finds apps, contacts, calendar events, and media on your device, or hands the query to the web. Before you type, it can suggest your frequent and recent apps, using Android's Usage access if you grant it. Everything search reads stays on your device.
THE FEED PANE
Swipe left for a reading pane: news from a selection of publishers we include, plus any RSS or Atom feed you add yourself, alongside weather, world clocks, and stock tickers. Add Civic Brief Briefings, and it will show what your local government is meeting about — that one asks for your ZIP code first, and asks before it sends anything.
YOUR LAYOUT, BACKED UP
Export your entire setup to a file and restore it exactly; back it up to a folder of your choice.
PANELS PRO
Nova backup import, automatic app grouping, scheduled backups, and locked home screens are part of Panels Pro, a single purchase with no subscription. Everything else above is free — including backing up and restoring by hand, which is deliberate: getting your arrangement off a device you are leaving should never be the paid part. Pro is what runs it on a schedule so you don't have to remember.
ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE
Panels uses Android's AccessibilityService API for one thing: opening the notification shade when you swipe down on the home screen.
It is optional and off until you turn it on. Panels explains why before asking, and you can decline and keep using everything else. The service is deliberately configured to receive no screen content — it declares no accessibility event types and no ability to read windows or inspect other apps — so it cannot see what is on your screen, what you type, or what you do in other apps. It only performs the "open notifications" action. You can turn it off at any time in Android Settings, and nothing else in Panels changes if you do.
PRIVACY
No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Your layout, your feed history and what the search field reads all stay on your device.
