Papetto brings paper drawings to life.
Snap a photo of a drawing, pick one from your gallery, or draw right in the app. Papetto cuts the character out of the paper, you drag a few dots to place its bones, and then — it gets up. Pick a movement, set the stage, and out comes a short looping video you can share anywhere.
MADE FOR PARENTS, WITH KIDS ALONGSIDE
Big buttons, no reading required for the fun parts, and nothing to break. Every step can be undone, and leaving a drawing behind always asks first.
YOUR PHOTOS NEVER LEAVE THE DEVICE
This is not a promise — it is how the app is built. Papetto has no internet permission at all, so it could not send anything even if it wanted to. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. A video only leaves your phone when you tap Share, and you choose where it goes.
WHAT YOU KEEP
Every drawing and video is saved in Keepsakes with its date — a little shelf of things your child made. Delete the app and it all goes with it; share anything you want to keep forever.
Papetto is built on Meta's open-source AnimatedDrawings research (MIT license).
Snap a child's drawing and watch it get up and walk. On-device, no internet.
